Special Westin Supplement
Thanks to Our Favorite People
at the Westin Caesar Park Panama
The Riding to the Moon team would like to extend
a very special thank you to the Westin Caesar Park Panama Hotel.
The wonderful hotel staff has offered us the utmost in hospitality
and welcomed us with great kindness and friendship. They have far
surpassed their initial commitment to us of complimentary rooms,
and here is how!
Fulvia Herrera
The Front Desk, run by the extraordinary Fulvia
Herrera, has provided us with exceptional service and taken care
of all of our special needs.
The Executive Business Center has been our second
home in the hotel; we have full use of the computers, internet connection,
photocopier and local telephone calls, all at no charge; the two
beautiful and intelligent women who run the business center, Vicki
and Sandra, are an added bonus.
Sandra Silvera
Vicki Simmons
Dinorah Gonzalez
Guest Services and the Concierges, both headed by
the inexhaustible Dinorah, have steered us towards the fabulous
sights and activities here in Panama and assisted in our attempts
to arrange passage onward.
Joe and his knowledgeable staff in the hotel gym dropped the usual
workout fee for us, and we have responded with much sweating and
grunting on the phenomenal state-of-the-art equipment.
Joe Schuberg
Kudos to Joe who has created the first gym in the
world entirely equiped by Life Fitness.
Jimmy Owens
The Valet staff with Jimmy in the driver's seat
has dutifully reserved safe and secure parking for our beloved cycles
day and night (though we must admit we park them ourselves).
The Housekeeping department has succeeded in the
impossible task of cleaning up after five messy bikers and has worked
around our frenetic schedules.
In every way, the Caesar Park Panama is a world-class
hotel. Not only are they professional and dignified every moment,
but warm and caring at the same time. Being here during the Holiday
season, we have witnessed their generosity towards the community.
The Caesar Park hosted a special party for the children of the Interior
(outside of Panama), complete with music, fireworks, and the lighting
of the lobby Christmas tree. The hotel is also a proud sponsor of
the Christmas Telethon for local children's charities. And finally,
they have hosted Riding to the Moon in support of the American Cancer
Society and Save the Children.
We recommend this hotel unreservedly to our fellow
travellers, whether for business or pleasure or both.
