The Riding to the Moon team would like to extend a very special thank you to Continental Airlines of Panama. This wonderful carrier has, in our greatest hour of need thus far, offered us, and our bikes, a flight to Quito, Ecuador and they have done so with the great enthusiasm as well.

Christmas here in Panama is a sight to behold. People have booked their flights here far in advance and the planes are running near full capacity both in passangers and the cargo.

Our bikes which weigh in around 500 pounds each were drained and crated up only 8 hours ago. The forklift came and scooted them into the cargo door like they were cotton, making this heavy load that we have been worrying about seem so light that we immediately forgot our troubles.
