Day 62 - Thursday, January 2, 1997
Miles - 93 Jay and I reach Santiago where we are met by Matias, his wife, Maria de Los Angeles, and their four children. The first thing we learned from Matias was that he has a brother living in Vina del Mar with whom we could have stayed in spacious comfort free of charge, rather than squandering our money on our tiny, quite expensive room.
Days 63 to 65 - January 3-5, 1997 Hanging out with Matias and his family and having a great time checking out Santiago! Miles - just cruising around town.
